Receiving an SMS online means reading a text message on a website instead of a physical phone. It works because the website owns real phone numbers connected to the mobile network, and publishes the messages those numbers receive. You pick a number, use it where a code is required, and read the result in your browser.
Step 1 — Choose a free number
Open the numbers list and pick any number. If a service expects a specific country, choose a number from that country — the country is shown on every number.
Step 2 — Use the number to verify
Enter the number wherever an app or website asks for a phone number. Don't include spaces; copy it directly from the number's page to avoid typos.
Step 3 — Read the code
Return to the number's page and refresh. Incoming messages appear with the verification code highlighted, so you can copy it with one tap.
Important: these numbers are public
Anyone can read messages sent to a public number. Use them only for throwaway sign-ups and testing — never for banking, your main email, or any account you care about.
